[Tip of the day] - Jeans Don't Lie

Everyone should own at a least a pair of skinny jeans.

I am saying this not because it's probably still the most trendy cut at the moment* (see end of post) but it's the best way to do a weight or body shape check. Especially now that loose fit maxi dresses, rompers and jumpsuits are common, negligence may kick in.

So why not use the traditional method of weighing scale or measuring tape? Let me tell you why.

Weighing machine, I don't find them reliable. You get different readings depending on time of the day (day or night), location of the scale placed, type of scale used... To add on, weight loss sometimes only meant water loss and not fat loss.

Measuring tape?  It's too harsh a truth to handle and it's time consuming. Gotta measure waistline, hip, left thigh, right thigh....and having the numbers staring back at you...Sian.

I like approximation aka Agaration. Skinny jeans gives gentle reminder if you have grow an extra inch or two. Unless you put on some considerable amount of weight, you'll still be able to fit into the jeans. Slipping into THE jeans, you can 'agar agar' feel if it's becoming looser or tighter at certain areas. So it helps you decide if you can afford that extra scoop of ice cream or you need to give up the whip cream on your frappe.

Buy your pair of definitive jeans when you are at your tip-top shape.

The pair of skinny jean should ideally not be too low cut.

Jeans don't lie, which is why Miranda went ecstatic when she could fit into her skinny after giving birth to Brady. =0
